Kidman'due south performance has been positively received. Writing for Daily Star, critic Andy Lea said in a positive review that "Kidman puts in a spooky performance every bit the frail just determined Christine."[18] David Edwards of Daily Mirror stated, "Leading lady Nicole Kidman hasn't been this practiced in ages" finishing with "Kidman is on height class every bit the nervy, spiky woman walking a psychological tightrope."[19]
