Hi,
To disable the Windows Update service in Services Manager, please follow the steps below:
- Press Windows key + R. Type services.msc, so hit Enter.
- Search for Windows Update.
- Correct-click on Windows Update, then select Backdrop.
- Under Full general tab, set up the Startup type to Disabled.
- Click Stop.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
- Restart your computer.

This is how I used to do information technology, merely now it but gets re-enabled on reboot just to start another windows update, how exercise I permanently disable information technology?

Know what there are many people getting real sick and tired of these updates breaking and causing damages to a system they have put coin into when does information technology stop? Why is it that we cannot terminate these updates if nosotros and then desire to wait into what they are and why Before it happens? Encounter I to am getting real sick and tired of my stuff having issues lets kickoff with some of the mutual problems that can happen Not that its happening to mine "YET"...
i:Antiviruses get turned off/Firewall
2:Issues could occur with the audio
3:Ram goes out the roof sometimes even corrupted to where one must get and purchase more ram
iv:sometimes can remove icons,web browser links that we take put on there for practiced reason,turns internet off that we have continued to!
v:Java gets removed without warning,and framework redistrabution I belive tis chosen gets removed as well...
I'm sorry that this seems like a angry text its non its more me simply getting bellyaching nosotros demand to come together and effigy these things out cause its causing alot of people stress that should non be happening any who please reply and permit me know what is happening and why!

I have tried numerous ways to stop MS updating Windows 10, simply none of information technology works permanently.
I wish to practice this considering my recent attempt to update the OS caused my laptop to be inoperable. Later on many hours of frustration, I was able to revert to a previous install of Win10 Home, version 1703.
None of the communication provided by MS works.
For example, MS propose "Select the Kickoff button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update .
Under Update settings, select Avant-garde options.
Select Defer upgrades."
My version of Windows x does not have the option to defer.
Furthermore, I have accessed the WindowsUpdate via Services, but when I stop information technology Windows restarts it soon after. A reboot makes no difference because however again Windows starts it.
And and then on and and then forth.
This is causing me to despair because I rely on this auto for my piece of work.
Please Microsoft, fix this problem and cease providing useless information.

Windows 10 is a service and then updates are necessary, merely yous can notwithstanding have control when the updates should be installed completely.

To know the version, press Windows fundamental + S > type winver > press Enter.
