Wordrix - Review

Okay... here's a cool, addictive game for your Windows Phone. Wordrix is a Boggle styles game for your Windows Phone that has yous finding words amongst an assortment of letters.

As you create words, you earn points and the letters are replenished. Y'all accept two game modes, Local and Online with settings to allow you to customize the appearance of the game.

App Layout

Wordrix's main carte is rather self explanatory. You take buttons to launch either the Local or Online game, to access the game's instructions, settings, virtually screen and to alter your player name.

From the Settings Carte you can plow the sound off or alter your game theme. There are five to cull from ranging from Classic Dark to Quondam Schoolhouse (notebook paper).

Local Games are a series of games played confronting the clock. Yous take 3 game choices where y'all race the clock to see how high a score yous tin can achieve and three game choices to see how fast you lot tin achieve a preset score.

Online Games sends you to the Wordrix server where everyone nowadays plays with the aforementioned set up of tiles. Your given two minutes to play to see who can rack up the most points.

Each game style has leaderboards listing the daily, weekly and personal bests for the game.

Game Play

Game Play is elementary. From the 5x5 grid of messages, you describe a line connecting the letters to form a discussion. Y'all can connect at angles, horizontally and vertically. Once yous create a word, lift your finger, points are added, the give-and-take appears at the bottom of the screen and the letters used are replaced with new.

The two minutes in the Online Game goes quick and you'll be surprised how few words you lot find when you first enter the arena. The Local Games are as challenging simply knowing that yous aren't competing against others takes a picayune chip of the force per unit area off you.

Wordrix can make yous feel stupid, having words as evidently every bit the nose on your face staring at you lot. You lot'll grab yourself proverb "doh" time and time again.
